Learn about programs that focus on perfecting your language skills, serving and learning alongside communities in need, seeing some of the world’s great sights firsthand, or making lasting connections with people from a different culture.
CIEE
CIEE offers students three- and four-week summer sessions for students to learn a new language, pursue a passion like marine biology or politics, or serve a community in need.
BHS Italian Exchange
The Bellaire Italian Exchange is offered exclusively to students taking the Italian language course. Students live with host families and attend school in Southern Italy and then welcome their new host brother or sister to Houston for several weeks.
NSLI-Y
The National Security Language Initiative for Youth provides summer and year-long experiences for students to study a language of critical security importance to the United States.
